So there’s successful and then there’s OPRAH WINFREY successful! Do you even call that successful when Oprah is the subject? What else can you call it when it’s Oprah? It’s like she’s Jesus’ auntie and calling her successful can be labeled a sin! (that’s a joke)
The Grio is reporting the news about the National Museum of African-American History adding an Oprah Winfrey exhibit and in my opinion, that’s HUGE!!! I have yet to visit the museum because the waiting list is so long, by the time I get there, the exhibit should be ready! So I guess that’s good timing.
Here’s the story:
Now Oprah Winfrey is officially going down in American history. The icon is getting her own special exhibit at the famed National Museum of African-American History and Culture (NMAAHC), which will let visitors see how her life and career influenced American culture for more 30 years.
The exhibit, entitled, “Watching Oprah: The Oprah Winfrey Show and American Culture,” opens this Friday and will run through June 2019.
The National Museum of African American History and Culture has had more 3.5 million visitors since it opened in September 2016.
