Talladega Claims the URBAN MEDIA TODAY NATIONAL TITLE 

Talladega  claims the Urban Media Today National HBCU Basketball Championship. Coach Chris Wright’s Tornadoes played 38 games this season and 4 of their six losses came at the hands of the NAIA Champions (Loyola of New Orleans). USCAA National Champions Paul Quinn, MEAC Regular season and Tourney Champs Norfolk State round out the top three. Talladega joins previous champions Morehouse (2017), Virginia State (2018) and Xavier (La) (2019). There were no rankings in 2020-2021 Due to the impact of the Pandemic.
