The Alabama A&M Bulldogs put much bite in their bark in 2019 and finished with a record of 7 wins against 5 Losses. Coach Connell Maynor and his red and white offense averaged 156 yards per game on the ground powered by senior running back Jordan Bentley who carried the ball a total of 272 times while amassing 1,417 yards in 12 games. Bentley also scored 18 touchdowns on the ground while catching 2 passes for two more bringing his total trips to the house in 2019 to 20 in all during this past season.

The Red-Shirt Senior from Guntersville had two games this past season in which he scored 4 touchdowns (Alabama State on 10/26/19 and Alcorn State on 11/16/19). Not to mention in the game against Alcorn State number one rushed for 245 yards which was the most in any game in the SWAC. Bentley also had 4 games in which he carried the ball 25 times or more and rushed for over 100 yards or more in 8 games helping the Bulldogs finish the season with a respectable seven wins.
