New Brunswick, N.J. – August 30, 2019 – As many children head back to school this time of year, Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Peter Cole, MD, shares some important health reminders for youngsters. Whether children are battling cancer or not, Dr. Cole, who is also the Embrace Kids Foundation Endowed Chair in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and a professor of pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, notes a good diet, physical activity and regular doctor check-ups can help keep kids healthy.
