“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality…. I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.”
—Martin Luther King, Jr.

I recently revisited this thought and began to pray that we, as a people, begin to see the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood. MAGA may have slowed us down, but the fight cannot and should not be for anyone but us. That is the whole of us. Each person who lives in this world should stand up for a better life. We cannot fight unless we have a plan. MAGA may try to take away some of our hard-earned rights, but the better angels must push on and win for the battle is every day. We must let those who take us for granted be told we are here for the fight. We must use our money, our minds, and our bodies to demand that we shall be respected. This world is a better place when we care more about others than ourselves.
