According to reports from various outlets including the New York Post and Sports Illustrated, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders will visit with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, April 10th. Sanders seemed to confirm the visit via his Instagram story. He wrote the caption “Legendary,” in response to the report.
Sanders is currently projected to go No. 9 to the Saints, but if Sanders passes New Orleans, things are different. The Steelers may zero in on Sanders and make him their go-to in the first round. That could lead to a trade or simply hoping he falls to them at pick 21.
Quarterbacks Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss) and Tyler Shough (Louisville) also scheduled for a pre-draft visit to Pittsburgh. Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson are on the current Steelers QB roster, while the team awaits a decision from 4-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers.
