Holidays are a great time to reconnect with your family, including your furry, four-legged family members. Here are a few tips from Rover to keep your pets safe during the holidays:
- Make sure plants that are poisonous such as poinsettias are out of reach.
- Limit the chances of counter surfing by not leaving tempting treats (such as bones) on the counter and keep food as far back on the counter top as possible.
- Make sure the trash is in a pet-proof container.
- Have a barrier between pets and holiday decorations or make sure they are high and away to discourage exploration.
