Khris Gardin is one of the best returners in Football Championship Subdivision/Division I-AA history; he finished his career in Greensboro with 1,594 punt return yards. The 5’7″ senior wide out is now second all-time in punt return yardage behind Hampton’s Marquay McDaniel (1,668 punt return yards).
Gardin and his teammates were perfect on the field this season winning the Black College National Championship with a perfect 12-0 record. Khris started off the season placing Aggies opponents on alert confirming his reputation for being a dangerous punt returner was legit. In the opening game against Gardner -Webb, Gardin returned one of his five punt returns on the day 88-yards for a touchdown.
