Gardin and his teammates were perfect on the field this season winning the Black College National Championship with a perfect 12-0 record. Khris started off the season placing Aggies opponents on alert confirming his reputation for being a dangerous punt returner was legit. In the opening game against Gardner -Webb, Gardin returned one of his five punt returns on the day 88-yards for a touchdown.
