In a historically unprecedented move, the Manhattan grand jury indicted former President Donald Trump on Thursday.
Trump must respond to over 30 counts of business fraud related to alleged “hush money” payments to adult entertainer Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential election.
The former President released a statement blasting alleging a “witch hunt” and “election interference” led by “Radical Left Democrats.”
In response, Bragg called these allegations “baseless and inflammatory.”
Trump is expected to appear in court on Tuesday, as its been reported that the DA’s office is negotiating the terms of his surrender.
