The recent news coverage on the tragic shootings that took place in Florida, California, and Oregon, to name a few, has placed an extremely uneasy covering across the country; particularly with our children.

Following the Parkland, Florida school shooting, claiming the lives of 17 students, coaches, and teachers, students from across the United States, exercised their right to protest, by initiating a National Walk Out to stop school shootings and gun violence.

Wednesday, March 14, students raised their fists and laid down on lawns and streets in protest rallies in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Georgia, California, and the nation’s capital.

Will these exercises bring awareness to more stricter laws for gun purchases? Do you support the student walk out? Share your thoughts.
