Members of the Inaugural TAJ-Talented 10th  Black College All-American Team.

During the month of February,(Black History Month) one member of the All-American team will be featured on the UrbanmediaToday.com website daily. Today we put the spot light on:

Grambling State’s LA’Allan Clark  : (Defensive Line)

LA’Allan Clark was a major factor on the Defensive line that helped the Grambling State Tigers to a 11 win against 2 loss season. Clark also helped the Tigers  repeat as South Western Athletic Conference Champions and make back to back appearances in the celebration bowl.

 


The Baton Rouge native  came up big in the 31-20 victory over Clark-Atlanta with 4 quarterback hurries and a tackle. He followed that game with a 4 tackle performance in the  41-14 victory over Alcorn State while he garnered 2.5 tackles for loss , forced fumble and recovered a fumble.

 

By the end of the 2017 campaign the 6’5″ Junior amassed 11.5 Tackles for Loss of his total 30 tackles.  Clark did his part putting more than a roar into the Tigers defense with his 10 quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.Clark also garnered 8 sacks for a total of 55 yards,he forced 2 fumbles and recovered one.
