TUSKEGEE, Ala. __ Tuskegee men’s basketball will travel to face conference opponent Miles on Saturday, January 25, at 3:00 p.m. inside of Bartow Arena in Birmingham.
The Golden Tigers enter the game with an 8-8 overall record and a 6-4 mark in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), riding a two-game win streak following a dominant home victory over Kentucky State.
Tuskegee is eager to continue their winning momentum as they face Miles, which comes into the matchup at the top of the conference standings with a 13-3 overall record and a 10-1 record in SIAC play.

ABOUT TUSKEGEE (8-8, 6-4 SIAC)
Tuskegee has been fueled by key individual performances, including a recent career-high from Kusamae Draper of 29 points and 12 rebounds in the win over the Thorobreds. Draper averages 15.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest on the season.
Other standout scoring contributions come from Kevin Sesberry, who leads the team with 16.2 points per game, and, D’Anthony Pennington, who has been a driving force with 13.4 points and 3.1 assists per game.
The Golden Tigers have been effective on both ends of the floor, with a team average of 66.7 points per game, as well as averaging 36.8 rebounds and 8.1 steals per game, which speaks to their defensive intensity.
The team ranks first in field goal (37.9 percent) and three-point percentage (26.0 percent), while ranking second in scoring defense, allowing 61.7 points per contest.
Their ability to generate turnovers has been another key factor in their recent success, as they continue to apply pressure and create fast-break opportunities.
ABOUT TUSKEGEE (13-3, 10-1 SIAC)
Miles enters the game with a high-scoring offense, led by Alvin Miles, who is averaging 16.2 points per game. The guard has been a consistent scorer, hitting 41 percent of his field goals and three-point attempts.
The Golden Bears are also known for their strong rebounding, averaging 36.0 boards per game and holding a +3.2-rebounding margin.
