This weekend the NBA Playoffs begin and as of Monday night, there is only one playoff spot that has not been decided and that is in the Eastern Conference.

There were nine games on the NBA schedule and the two teams battling for the eighth and final postseason spot in the Eastern conference ( Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls) were both in action.
The Bulls went wild on the Orlando Magic beating the team from Florida 122-75 clamping down on their hold on the final Eastern Conference playoff spot. The Heat had a tougher time as their game with the Cleveland Cavaliers went into overtime before Miami picked up a much-needed win 124-121.
Tyler Johnson and Hassan Whiteside led the Heat with 24 and 23 points respectively. Now the Heat and Bulls remain tied with records of 40 wins against 41 losses and both teams final games of the season will be Wednesday.  If the two teams finish in a tie the Bulls will get the Final playoff birth, If one team should win and the other should lose than the winner will advance to the Playoffs. Chicago’s next game is at home against the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heats next game is in Miami against the Washington Wizards.
This is how the playoff picture looks in the Eastern Conference The  Boston Celtics hold the top spot with the Cleveland Cavaliers as the second seed followed by, the Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers and Chicago Bulls.
Out West the Golden State Warriors are the number one team overall and will have home court advantage throughout the Playoffs. The San Antonio Spurs are the second seed followed by the Houston Rockets, L.A. Clippers, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Portland TrailBlazers.
The final games of the NBA regular season take place Wednesday and the playoffs begin this weekend and will be exciting from the first round to the finals. But don’t overlook the final day of the regular season, because those games could not only impact the seedings going into the post-season, but also could have an impact as to who is in the Playoffs and who is out.
