Collectively, the Bison scored 114 points with nine first-place finishes.
Sophomore Aiyana Gray-Williams (Winston-Salem, N.C.), junior Kiya Lawson (Montclair, N.J.) and second-year Bison Mackenzie Robinson (Ypsilanti, Mich.) placed first (11.92), second (12.11) and third (12.21), respectively, in the 100-meter dash.
Senior Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.), sophomore Sarah Seam (Gaithersburg, Md.) and rookie Ester Kirk (Morristown, N.J.) finished first (2:19.80), second (2:23.28) and third (2:31.72), respectively, in the 800-meter run. The New Jersey native also competed in the 1500-meter run, winning the race with a 5:03.13 mark.
Other noteworthy performance on the track included graduate Ariana Smith (Pennsville, N.J.) earning first in the 100-meter hurdles with a 14.03 time.
In the field, second-year Bison Leyanis Castillo (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) won the high jump, leaping 1.45 meters (4’9″).
Junior Ija Mumford (Winston-Salem, N.C.) claimed first place in the long jump (5.62 meters) while fellow classmate Kelis Armstrong (Plano, Texas) won gold in the triple jump (11.34 meters).
Kinnidi Hampton secured the top spot in the discus (34.97 meters) while reigning MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) Field Athlete of the Week graduate Erin Hatcher (Silver Spring, Md.) won the hammer (58.17 meters).
HU will travel to North Carolina for the Duke Invitational, hosted by the Blue Devils (April 11-12).
