(Pittsburgh, PA – January 29, 2018) – Urban Media Today is proud to announce the 2017 Members of the Inaugural TAJ-Talented 10th Black College All-American Team. The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) placed eleven players on the team. The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) placed seven players on the team while the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) and Mountain East Conference (MEC) placed one player a piece on the team. The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) had three players selected and The Central States Football League (CSFL) was represented by two players.
The 2017 Black College National Champion North Carolina A&T State Aggies had six players on the team in addition to Head Coach Rod Broadway being named the 2017 Coach of the Year. Bowie State University Quarterback Amir Hall captured the “2017 Offensive Player of the Year” honor and Tuskegee Linebacker Osband Thompson was chosen as the “2017 Defensive Player of the Year”.
During the month of February, (Black History Month) one member of the All-American team will be featured on the UrbanmediaToday.com website daily.
