We are very disappointed with the NFL’s recent actions. Why would they allow Trump to force them to remove the words “End Racism” from the end zones? This has been a fixture of the Super Bowl end zones since Super Bowl LV in 2021. We have not done enough to fight this problem in America and the world. Racism is “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or an ethnic group.” Over half of all NFL players are black (53%), and almost 70% of NFL players are people of color. What’s wrong with this picture?
