Pitt Football Announces Initial Home Game Promotions for 2025 Season

PITTSBURGH — With the 2025 Pitt Football season quickly approaching, the Panthers are excited to unveil promotional details for the first two home games at Acrisure Stadium: Pittsburgh Day on Saturday, Aug. 30 vs. Duquesne and Kids Day on Saturday, Sept. 6 vs. Central Michigan.

Fans can expect an engaging and family-friendly start to the season with game themes that celebrate Pittsburgh and create memorable experiences for our young Panther fans.

Pittsburgh Day — Aug. 30 at Noon vs. Duquesne

The season opener will proudly showcase all things Pittsburgh, with Acrisure Stadium transformed into a Steel City celebration of local pride and tradition.

Kids Day — Sept. 6 at Noon vs. Central Michigan

The following week, Pitt Football will turn the spotlight to its youngest fans with Kids Day, a one-of-a-kind opportunity for children to be a part of the gameday action:

Starting the week of June 23, Pitt Athletics will launch an interest form via email and social media for parents to sign up their children for a chance to win one of the exclusive Kids Day experiences. Winners will be selected and contacted with coordination details. Please note: tickets are required for participation and may be purchased after winners are confirmed.
