What is NIL? Everything to know about the NCAA rule allowing college athletes to get paid

I think it’s sad that some college coaches find the new player control system doesn’t work for them. For far too long, athletic directors and coaches had ALL the power. While I believe the present system has many faults, we need to level the playing field. The misnomer “student-athlete” has been long gone in all of the major athletic programs. We seem to have a big problem now. I hope that colleges and athletes can find a way to work together so both can grow together. But I realize those that control the programs (i.e., money), will benefit most. Cooler heads must prevail. It always takes compromise to move forward, and I hope that this new world of college sports can benefit everyone.
