SYRACUSE, N.Y. – For the first time in program history, the No. 3-ranked Pitt men’s soccer team are outright Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) regular season champions, despite falling to Syracuse, 2-0, Friday evening at SU Soccer Stadium in Syracuse, N.Y.
Pitt concludes its historic 2024 regular season with a 12-4 ledger, including a 6-2 mark in ACC play. The Panthers’ 18 points secured the title, as they finished two points ahead of runner-up Clemson. The achievement marks Pitt’s first outright ACC regular season crown, as they previously won the ACC Coastal Division title during the 2020 campaign.
