We’re committed to building stronger businesses and neighborhoods throughout Allegheny County. We provide lending and development support to small businesses, affordable housing, and commercial real estate projects.
We’ve worked with small businesses that required funding assistance and start-up support like Touching Hearts Home Care and Doreen Upshaw’s Mobile Therapy Shuttle to ensure their business dreams come true. Through our guidance and small business lending opportunities, we were able to help these businesses and more with their short and long-term business goals.
We helped to establish affordable housing possibilities such as Bonvue Street and strategic real estate projects like the Five Points Project. These types of projects help to expand small businesses and neighborhoods throughout Allegheny County.
“It is great to see the improvements the Five Points Project is bringing to the business district in Observatory Hill,” said Denise Colbert, an Observatory Hill resident who is a homeowner. “Restoring the buildings and the addition of the apartments and the businesses will bring much needed vitality to our area,” she continued. “The blight that has long been a part of that area is now being refreshed and renewed.”
