Lane picks up road win over Albany State

ALBANY, Ga. – Lane College claimed a 58-48 victory over Albany State on Thursday night, in a hard-fought game held at the West Campus Arena in Albany, Georgia. The win improves Lane College’s record to 8-4 overall and 4-2 in SIAC play, while Albany State falls to 4-6 and 1-4 in the conference.

The game started with Albany State leading 11-10 after the first quarter, but Lane College took control in the second, outscoring their opponents 19-16 to take a 29-27 lead into halftime. Lane College continued their strong play in the third, extending their lead with a solid 18-point effort while holding Albany State to just 9 points. The fourth quarter saw both teams battle hard, but Lane College held on to secure the 58-48 victory.

  • Taylor Lattimore (Lane College): Lattimore was the standout player of the game, contributing 17 points and 4 rebounds to go along with 4 steals.
