About Dr. Schoos:
Dr. Schoos is a higher education professional with over 20 years of progressive experience as an administrator and faculty member promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in a variety of college and university settings. She teaches courses in subject areas, including Sociology, Diversity and Social Justice, African American History, and Leadership.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Central Michigan University (Spanish major, Political Science minor), two Master’s Degrees from Indiana University (African American and African Diaspora Studies, Higher Education, and Student Affairs), and a Doctorate of Education from the University of Pittsburgh (Administrative and Policy Studies, Higher Education Management concentration). Dr. Schoos is also an active member of ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY, INC., and the current president of Upsilon Eta Zeta Chapter in Western PA. She’s more than qualified to speak on the breaking news about The U.S. The Supreme Court setting some new rules for college campuses that have exercised affirmative action in their admissions.
