Elijah Bell and the A&T Aggies got off to a fast start this season and never looked back. Bell caught five passes for 71 yards and Two TDs in the opening season 45-3 win over Gardner Webb. He followed up that performance with  a six catch 60 yard 3 TD performance the following week in the 56-0 win over Mars Hill. So in just the first two games of the season the young sophomore already made a trip to the house five times.

The West Virgnia native did not stop there; two weeks later in the win over Morgan State he pulled in 4 receptions for 95 yards and two more touchdowns. Two weeks after that he broke loose against Delaware State for his season high 9 receptions for 179 yards. Bell also added another TD to his total in the win over the Hornets. All told the 6’1″ Sophomore from Wheeling pulled down 54 receptions for 858 yards and 11 TDs. He even came up with a big catch in the Celebration Bowl that helped his Aggies claim this years Black College National Championship.
