UPDATE as of 9:39 AM EST: The suspect in the Austin, Texas bombings that took the lives of 2 and eventually ended his, has been identified as 24-year-old Mark Anthony Conditt.
Authorities say the 24-year-old suspect blew himself up in his vehicle overnight as a SWAT team closed in on him in a suburban Austin hotel parking lot.
This morning, CNN is reporting the Austin bomber, who in a series of events, killing two people and terrifying Texas residents for close to a month, has killed himself when authorities had him closed in.
The first explosion killed 39-year-old Anthony Stephan House on March 2. The second blast on March 12 killed 17-year-old Draylen Mason. The third blast happened several hours later and critically injured a 75-year-old woman.
