THE HILL | The Alabama A&M University Department of Athletics announced an exciting weekend of events planned for the 14th Annual Louis Crews Classic. Activities leading up to the first home game of the 2024 season Sept. 6-8 include a coach’s breakfast, concert and other events.

The Louis Crews Classic has become a staple for Bulldog fans as the annual game begins the home football slate and this year, Alabama A&M will play host to Kentucky State.

The game concludes a weekend-long celebration of the former AAMU head coach, who roamed the sidelines from 1959-1976 and amassed a remarkable 110-61-3 record during his time on The Hill.

In 2010, Alabama A&M created the Annual Louis Crews Classic to honor the contributions made by Louis Crews and his family to the institution. In the 13 previous games held, the Bulldogs are 9-4 in the annual classic.

The celebration of AAMU athletics and legendary coach Louis Crews will feature former players to commemorate the event.
