For Immediate Release, Pittsburgh, PA–“The Gospel According to Andre’,” chronicling the life of the former Vogue Editor At Large Makes Pittsburgh Debut at The Frick Pittsburgh.
Style Week Pittsburgh is partnering with The Frick Pittsburgh to bring the groundbreaking film, “The Gospel According to Andre” which chronicles the life and career of fashion arbiter and former Vogue editor at large, Andre Leon Talley to the Frick Art Museum Auditorium.
Directed by Kate Novack, the film depicts Talley intimately and features exclusive interviews with Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, among others—as well as archival footage from his career, which began with his involvement with Andy Warhol’s Factory in the 1970s and Women’s Wear Daily (WWD).
“I am thrilled to bring this important and timely piece of work to Pittsburgh and in partnership with The Frick. Mr. Talley has been and continues to be an instrumental contributor in fashion and his story should be heard by the masses,” said Wadria Taylor, founder of Style Week Pittsburgh.
The screening will take place on Thursday, July 26th, 6 PM at The Frick Pittsburgh, 7227 Reynolds Street, Pittsburgh, Pa 15206 with light refreshments and a discussion following the film. The film is rated PG 13 and the event is open to the public. Seating is limited. Online registration is required.
