-Third Team AP FCS All-American TeamTrent Scott was a major factor on the offensive line that helped the Grambling State Tigers to a 11 win against 2 loss season. Scott also helped the Tigers repeat as South Western Athletic Conference Champions and make back to back appearances in the celebration bowl.
The Alabama native finished the season with a grade of 90 percent; throwing his weight around on coach Broderick Fobbs offensive line providing protection for one of the top Quarterbacks in the conference.
The Tigers offense excelled with Scott as part of the front line. GSU averaged 31 points per game and 317 yards of toatl offense per contest (139 yards per game on the ground and 231 yards in the air).
The 6’5″ Redshirt Senior amassed 39 pancake blocks this past season with 32 downs. The Tigers offense ran off ran off 843 plays this past season and Scott did not allow anyone lined up in front of him to get to the quarteback at anytime all season long.
