During the month of February, (Black History Month) A member of the All-American team has been featured on the UrbanmediaToday.com website daily. Today we put the spot light on:

Southern’s Aaron Tiller : (Defensive Lineman)

Tiller Capped  off the 2017 season with 50 tackles (29 solo) and averaged 4.5 tackles per game from in the trenches.

The Ohio  native finished second on the Jaguars defense in total tackles for loss with 17.5; what is more impressive is 13 of those were all by his lonesome. Tiller averaged 1.59 takles for loss per game. Big number 94 forced 2 fumbles this past season and  accumalated 85 yards in loss yards for the Jags opponents as he made a habit of knocking people down behind the line of scrimmage.

The 6’1″ Senior  was an intrical part of  Southern University’s 7 wins and 4 losses  season;
Helping the Jags defense finish as the third ranked team in turn/over ratio with a plus five margin.

The Southern  D also finished as the third best team in the South Western Athletic Conference in the category of Pass defense effiency. The fifth best pass defense in the conference  (only 184.8 yards per game) and the seventh best rushing defense (166.5 yards per game).
