JACKSON, Miss. | No. 23 Jackson State returns to action this weekend looking to extend its winning streak in conference play when it hosts UAPB for homecoming at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The game is set for a 2 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+ and is one of two remaining games at The Vet this season for the Tigers.
Jackson State (6-2, 4-0 SWAC) looks to extend its winning streak to five consecutive games in the conference and four consecutive games at home this season. The Tigers have won the only Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game at home this season, beating Florida A&M with a come-from-behind win two weeks ago.
The Tigers currently lead the SWAC East Division by one game over Alabama State and a game and a half over Florida A&M with four conference games remaining.

- Irv Mulligan reached 100 yards for the second consecutive game, rushing for 171 yards on 18 carries against Bethune-Cookman. Although he missed the first two games of the season, he is just shy of 600 yards rushing for the season.
- Gerardo Baeza had a perfect day kicking the ball against Bethune-Cookman. The junior placekicker connected on all four of his extra point attempts, and also connected on three of his field goals. By doing so, he was named SWAC Specialist of the Week.
