BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The STATS FCS Preseason All-America Team was released on Tuesday with a total of three Southwestern Athletic Conference football student-athletes earning selections.

Also included were 34 players who were named 2018 postseason All-Americans, led by nine returning first-team selections.

Muhammad was also named the 2019 SWAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year after an impressive junior campaign while Waller was a first team All-SWAC pick in the backfield.

Prairie View A&M senior defensive back Ju’Anthony Parker garnered a third team selection after also being tabbed a 2019 Preseason All-SWAC first team selection during the league’s preseason voting earlier this month.
